It is hard to believe we are near the end of the first term of the school year and that 2017 is drawing to a close. Next week is the last week before the winter break and the kids (and staff) are certainly getting excited. There are just a couple things of note for the week.
Report cards are being sent home next Wednesday. Please keep the report card for your records, but sign and return the report card envelope to your child’s teacher.
Next Friday, Dec 22 we having our annual pancake breakfast and Pyjama day. Please have your kids dress in their warmest pyjamas as they will still be going outside for recess and lunch. Thanks to all of the volunteers that make this day possible.
We will also be having our Sing-A-Long and assembly in the afternoon on Friday. As a special treat, we will also have a performance from our grade 7 band!
As was mentioned in an earlier newsletter, due to a scheduling conflict with the district staging not being available, we will not be having a winter concert this year. A performance will be scheduled for the spring instead.
